Hi, my name is Holly and I am the creator of the “Miss Marilyn” website. I am 20 years old and I live in New Jersey and I am
a history/pre-law
major at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. I have been a huge fan of
Marilyn since I was 8 years old, and every year I seem to love her more and
more J At first I fell in love with her for the image she
portrayed, but as I progressed further into my teen years and dealt with
prescription drug addiction, issues with my father, and self-image issues,
Marilyn was a mirror to my life that invoked a courage in me that was able to
keep me going through all of that and get me to where I am today. Some people
think I am obsessed with Marilyn…you know what? They might be true. But I want
to show my admiration and adoration for such an amazing and strong woman
whenever I can. No one beats her in my book J

I work at the Rutgers University Computer Labs as an IT Consultant, and I absolutely love it. Yes, I would definitely qualify as a computer geek, although I definitely have more to learn! That is why I am minoring in Information Technology, because it is a major interest to me. Plus, knowing as much as you can about computers will help you go far no matter what field you plan to enter! I am also a member of the Douglass College Government Association, the University Hearing Board, the Douglass Student Recruitment Network, and a resident of the Leadership Unit. I know I do too much!
I am also a music fanatic; I cannot live without my music! To say I have a
varied taste in music is an understatement to say the least LOL. I love Kylie
Minogue, Madonna, Nine Inch Nails, Chevelle, Jennifer Lopez, Ashanti, Kelly
Clarkson, Mariah Carey, Patty Loveless, Gwen Stefani, Black Eyed Peas, No
Doubt, Faith Hill, Aerosmith, Blondie, Coldplay, Britney, Everlast, Destiny’s
Child, and many more. I could go on and on and on, but I won’t J
I love cars, and as of October 2005 I have only a 1992 Toyota Celica, but my
uncle will be giving me his 2000 Jaguar XK8 for my birthday in December! Here

As I mentioned before, I am a history major…and yes, I am a huge history buff. I particularly love United States history, and I love World War Two. The History Channel is definitely my bag, baby J But perhaps my favourite channel on the tele is Comedy Central. I love to laugh, and I love to watch standup comedians perform.
I have been collecting things that have to do with Marilyn basically ever since I started liking her when I was eight years old. Now that I earn my own money, however, I can spend a lot more on my addiction! I have a continuously growing collection of Marilyn memorabilia, but as any true fan knows, you can never stop collecting. I also put a wish list at the bottom of this page for all of the things I would like or am hoping to get sometime in the future. If I do get one of the things from my wishlist, I will post it up here and cross it off ASAP!
